I feel like there are a few ways to interpret this song: 1) the kid singing is a trans girl/nonbinary in the closet or in denial. 2) it’s just a kid singing about questioning his gender/going through the troubles of being a young boy. His friends are nonbinary (Spider, beetle, and bee could be nonbinary names) and are trying to help him.

When people see the three versions as the siblings they usually make V3 the oldest, but in my personal opinion I see it as the youngest being tired of life after constantly being “teased” (bullied) by their older siblings and how nobody ever listen to them because they’re seen as spoiled even if they didn’t ask for anything and how they given up on pertaining to be happy. Then actually feeling happy once they moved away and found themselves a new family.
